Participate in Early Porsche Production with New Virtual Reality Experience

Now a new Smart Glasses-based VR feature gives a futuristic look at Porsche heritage. A new feature allows visitors to the Porscheplatz in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen to digitally tour the first Porsche workshop in Gmund. The original Austrian workshop has been digitally recreated, allowing users to virturally assemble and paint a 356 coupe in the correct surroundings. Isn't VR wonderful? For the 70th Anniversary year, the VR experience allows simulated participation in early Porsche production. The virtual tour takes place in a dedicated pavilion in the entrance to the Porsche Museum, and is free of charge through August 26th, 2018. The tour is available during normal museum hours, and on Mondays from 9am-6pm. Mazda dealers offer virtual reality driving in shopping centres
The move is part of a three-prong digital strategy which also includes the use of VR technology to train the UK dealer network ahead of vehicle launches and the launch of the Drive Together App in dealerships to enhance the customer retail experience.The intu dealer line-up includes RRG, Sandicliffe, Brayleys Cars, Wessex Mazda and Romford Mazda. The retail tour, which includes the Trafford Centrer in Manchester (pictured) will offer customers a virtual reality test drive of either the Mazda MX-5 or the Mazda CX-5. Using VR goggles whilst seated in each car, participants will be transported behind the wheel to experience a virtual drive along the winding roads of the Italian Alps (MX-5) or around the Longcross test track in Surrey (CX-5).
