The production version debuts later this year, but only for China. China remains a lucrative market for luxury sedans. Many of the world’s automakers not only offer luxury saloons in the Asian country, but they also offer China-specific models. Lincoln is no different, revealing the Zephyr Reflection at 2021 Auto Shanghai. It’s a sleek, modern concept that previews the production version that the company will debut later this year. Lincoln designed the vehicle “solely” for the Chinese market. The Zephyr Reflection sports a familiar Lincoln look, though it’s been thoroughly reworked to look wholly unique. The Lincoln badge at the front is prominent, sitting against a new grille with a starburst pattern that further accentuates the bold badge. It also sits framed between chrome strips that extend to the sleek headlights before blending into a bold body line over the front fender and down the side of the sedan. The designers cover it with lots of LED strips. The Honda SUV E:Prototype debuts at Auto Shanghai as the company's preview for a forthcoming electric crossover. The production version for the Chinese market goes on sale in spring 2022. The general shape is reminiscent of the next-gen HR-V, but the designers add lots of lights. There are tiny headlamps in the corners, and LED strips run along the edge of the hood without meeting in the center. The Honda 'H' logo is illuminated, too. Even more LEDs appear in the lower fascia along the sides of the intake. The Xingyue L will feature a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. No, that wasn’t a misprint, the Shanghai Auto Show is back in 2021. Amidst the excitement, one vehicle that caught our eye was the Geely Auto Xingyue L, the Chinese automaker’s latest flagship SUV. From the exterior, it exemplifies the brand’s so-called "accelerating through time and space" aesthetic. In a world where we often see automakers applying their own philosophy to roughly the same SUV silhouette, the latest offering from Geely is very much a bespoke vehicle. The i4 M Sport gets revised front and rear fascias. BMW rolled into Auto Shanghai 2021 with several models to show off, though we’ve seen them revealed before. However, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t anything of interest. The company showed off its latest-generation iDrive technology and new iX all-electric crossover alongside a special-edition 7 Series and our first look at the BMW i4 M Sport specification. BMW didn’t disclose any specific details about the i4 M Sport equipment line other than that it’ll be made available in China and other markets. However, there are visual differences between it and the regular i4 that are noticeable. At the front, the M Sport model gets a new sportier bumper with large intakes at the lower corners. It’s a similar change at the rear, with the back-end receiving a new bumper design that sees the lower diffuser extend further up the rear fascia.
