The two companies will begin early testing in the U.S. in the next few months. Waymo , Google’s infamous self-driving car project, is making up serious ground in the race for fully autonomous road-going vehicles. Recently it was confirmed that the company has partnered with ride-sharing service Lyft in an effort to launch a fleet of self-driving pilot cars throughout the U.S. According to The New York Times , initial testing for the partnership will take place in Phoenix and the surrounding areas, with an eventual plan to reach "more people, in more places," hoping to best competitors like Uber; the two companies are currently in a lawsuit over self-driving LiDAR tech. The company sees a future of driverless semis covering long-distance routes. It looks like Google’s autonomous spinoff Waymo is keen to grow – literally – in the self-driving realm. According to a report from Reuters , the company announced on June 1 that it was looking to develop driverless trucks. Wanna be Google’s guinea pig? Late last year, Fiat Chrysler Automobile sent 100 specially designed Pacifica Hybrids to Waymo (the company built out of Google’s self-driving car test project ). Today, we learn that Waymo wants 500 more of these autonomous plug-in hybrids for use in Arizona. Soon, if you’re adventurous, you’ll be able to ride in one of 600 self-driving Pacifica Hybrids in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Waymo says that, “As an early rider, you’ll be able to use our self-driving cars to go places you frequent every day, from work, to school, to the movies and more. The two new electric scooters are called: Atreo and Ahava. The electric scooters are priced at Rs 55,900 for the Ahava and Rs 64,900 for the Atreo model. All prices are ex-showroom. However, according to the latest report by CarandBike , EeVe India is getting ready to launch a new electric scooter, which will be called the EeVe Soul. The company has got all approvals from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). Also, the EeVe Soul will be a high-speed electric scooter from the brand.
