The Italian marque will be represented in the GT300 ranks of the Japanese series for the first time since the 2017 season, with CarGuy owner Takeshi Kimura and Kei Cozzolino sharing a solo Ferrari 488 GT3 using Yokohama tyres. It also marks a return to SUPER GT for CarGuy, which previously campaigned a Honda NSX GT3 before quitting after the 2018 season to focus on the Le Mans 24 Hours. Pacific Racing entered into a tie-up with Aston Martin squad D'station Racing for the 2020 season, but it emerged late last year that the alliance wouldn't continue into 2021. Ford, GM and Chrysler won't be participating in the Tokyo motor show this year due to the crisis in the industry. The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association is debating whether or not to hold the show this year due to the lack of participation. US automakers have pulled out of the Tokyo motor show. Ford, GM and Chrysler won't be participating in the Tokyo motor show this year, the automakers confirmed on Wednesday. "At this time, participating in the show just isn't a strategic priority," Ford spokeswoman Jennifer Flake said. A spokesman for GM Asia Pacific said the 2 million US dollars it would cost the automaker to take part in the show would be better spent elsewhere. Chrysler also cited its current troubles as a reason for skipping the show. Porsche Cars Australia has confirmed its flagship one-make series will hold a long-format race ay Albert Park for the first time, with a 45-minute hit-out on the Thursday evening. The enduro will kick off at 5:20pm local time.
