Four-time F1 world champion Vettel has joined the rebranded Aston Martin team for 2021 following a difficult final season with Ferrari, replacing Perez. Vettel finished a lowly 13th in the championship for Ferrari, scoring just one podium and barely one-third of teammate Charles Leclerc's points total. Recurring errors by Vettel in recent years led to questions about how much Ferrari's cars suited his driving style, which has been said to be dependent on a stable rear end. But Aston Martin technical director Andrew Green said there were zero concerns about accommodating Vettel with its new AMR21 car, believing his driving style is not as extreme as that of Perez. The American version premieres on March 16. The teaser image shows off the Stinger's updated headlights that now have two strips of running lights on the top and bottom of the lamp. It appears almost identical to the design on the South Korean model. The only major change is the amber turn signal at the corner of the American version. There might be other subtle changes like the tweaks to the lights on the American-market model, but they should be largely the same. Described as a "purpose-built facility," the test center will have four floors with workshops, office space and a VIP hospitality area.  More importantly, the company says the center will enable them to complete a "greater number of vehicle assessments per year, including Hyundai’s arduous ‘accelerated durability tests’ which simulate up to 180,000 km of severe driving in a matter of weeks."  The company went on to say the facility will enable them to better tune the steering, suspension and handling characteristics to the tastes of European drivers.
