Following the first time two consecutive editions of the Isle of Man TT have been cancelled since the Second World War, dates have been confirmed for the 2022 race. The 2020 event was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak in March, with this year’s planned event following suit late last year . But organisers are ploughing ahead with plans for next year’s races, which will be held between 29th May and 11th June 2022. Qualifying will be held across six days between Sunday 29th May and Friday 3rd June, with racing getting underway on Saturday 4th June and culminating on the fourth race on Friday 10th June. The annual event attracts over 46,000 to the Isle of Man a year across the two weeks of competition. Hamilton: Man on a mission or a last hurrah?
It's a question that is impossible to answer, simply because even the man himself is adamant that he doesn't yet know. Speculation about Hamilton's career plans has been rife since his new one-year deal was finally announced on February 8, a little over a month before the start of testing in Bahrain. It's not the first time that he has gone into a season with only that year left on a contract, but usually it's been at the conclusion of a longer deal. This time around it's different, and the fact that the current arrangement was concluded so late reflects the complex bargaining process before both sides were happy. After launching its absolute flagship for Japan, the Century , Toyota is now introducing the more mainstream Crown luxury sedan, which was previewed by a namesake concept last year. The automaker describes the 15 th generation of the model as the first-generation connected car because it comes as standard equipped with a data communication module (DCM). Based on Toyota’s new TNGA platform, the vehicle has been tested on the Nurburgring and should deliver “outstanding handling,” “responsive driving performance,” and “exceptional vehicle stability” in a wide range of driving conditions.
