Arguably one of the most stylish SUVs available, the Range Rover Velar is getting subtle exterior changes for the 2024 model year. Land Rover's designers have not fiddled with the styling too much as the luxury vehicle largely retains the sleek styling of the pre-facelift version. Updated headlights have jewel-like daytime running lights and flank a discreetly revised front grille. At the rear, the bumper's lower part has been mildly updated. Bigger changes have occurred inside the cabin where the 2024 Velar uses Land Rover's swanky 11.4-inch infotainment with a "floating" curved glass touchscreen. The syndicated daytime television show "Dr. Phil" is ending after 21 seasons, sunsetting a decades-long mainstay in the tabloid talk show genre that has become a cultural touchstone for viral "clapbacks" between its titular host and his guests, as well as popular cringe-inducing internet memes. Phil McGraw, the show's host, "is choosing to exit" for "new ventures," a news release from CBS Media Ventures said Tuesday. It added that the show will air original episodes through the current 2022-2023 television season, and that McGraw will pursue a "strategic prime-time partnership" aimed at expanding his audience in early 2024. "While his show may be ending after 21 years, I'm happy to say our relationship is not," Steve LoCascio, president of CBS Media Ventures, said in the release. With a new American sponsor behind them, it seems Haas are finally embracing their American heritage. Although Haas have been established since 2014 and have always branded themselves as the ‘American team’ it is not until now that statement seems justified. Of course, their base is in North Carolina but with offices also in the UK and Maranello, it is understandable that some American fans have felt no great affinity towards their supposed team. Team boss Guenther Steiner has suggested moving the team away from their European bases and to America would actually set them back but there are other parts of their operation which suggest they are trying to appeal to their home country a bit more. The Chiron is a success for Bugatti. The French automaker has sold all 500 of the build slots for the model and its variants. Now, even the pre-series model, the one-off Chiron Profilee was sold – and it's for a pretty, absolutely beautiful penny. In an auction held in France, the Bugatti Chiron Profilee was sold for 9,792,500 euros or $10,761,223 at the current exchange rates. This price doesn't include VAT, which will bring the price up to 12 million euros or over $13 million. Bugatti-Rimac CEO Mate Rimac claims that the Profilee now holds the world record for the most expensive new car sold at auction. The one-off Bugatti Chiron Profilee bridges the gap between the regular Chiron and the Chiron Pur Sport .
