Essential Guidelines For Riding Your Two Wheeler During Monsoons – Rainy Roads Ahead
Home Off beat oi-Agnel Rose Lukose By Agnel Rose Lukose Published: Thursday, June 1, 2023, 22:26 [IST] With the monsoon season knocking on the door, it's time to prepare for the joy and challenges of riding a two wheeler in wet and unpredictable weather. Riding in the rain is risky if you're not well geared up or an experienced rider. But this doesn't mean you should stow your two wheeler away; with caution and practice, you can ride during rain without much struggle. Here are a few tips for getting yourself and your two-wheeler ready for a better riding experience. Ensure Proper Tyre Maintenance Before the monsoon sets in, it is essential to check on the condition of your bike's tyres. Ensure the tyres are in good condition, have a good grip, and have enough tread. A weary tyre will reduce the friction between the tyre and the road, which might force skidding and leading to accidents. Also, make sure to inspect the … [Read more...] about Essential Guidelines For Riding Your Two Wheeler During Monsoons – Rainy Roads Ahead
Hyundai Patents Assisted Track Driving System
Like it or not, advanced driving assist and fully autonomous technologies are slowly but steadily becoming the new norm in the automotive industry. And while we believe it would make sense for some of the most boring and stressful drives to be controlled by some sort of software, we are not so sure about drives that are meant to give you fun and excitement behind the steering wheel. Yes, we are talking mostly about track fun. Apparently, however, Hyundai wants to use advanced systems in order to assist you during those weekends of closed-course driving. At a glance, it may sound like something you’d never want to use but the truth is the automaker doesn’t want the system to make steering inputs or accelerate and brake autonomously, for example. Instead, the basic idea is data gathering and managing for precise driving instructions. See Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Reach 170 MPH On The Autobahn
Alfa Romeo is one of the brands in the automotive industry that isn’t rushing with the adoption of electric vehicles. The Italians will actually skip the PHEV phase for its two core models – the Giulia and Stelvio – because their platforms weren’t designed to support plug-in technologies. As such, their range-topping variants are still powered by combustion engines with no electric support. For some, the 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbo engine under the hood of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio might be a little too old-school considering the current trends in the performance segment. However, we will surely miss the good old six-cylinder mill when it gets discontinued and replaced by a powertrain consisting of an electric motor, possibly with the next-generation Stelvio. First Production Koenigsegg Jesko Will Soon Be Delivered To Customer
We first saw the Koenigsegg Jesko break cover over four years ago at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It debuted before the pandemic, the shutdowns, and the supply chain issues that all rocked the global auto industry. Every Jesko the company plans to produce, all 125 of them, have already been sold, so good luck getting one. However, we can all afford to admire the first official production unit from afar. Esser Automotive, Koenigsegg’s official dealership, took possession of the first production Jesko yesterday during a handover ceremony at the automaker’s Ängelholm factory. Little is known about this specific Jesko , but the dealer will deliver it to the customer very soon. That lucky person will get to experience an otherworldly hypercar from Koenigsegg . The Agera RS replacement is powered by a revised version of the automaker’s twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that revs to 8,500 rpm. It produces 1,280 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, and switching to E85 ups … [Read more...] about First Production Koenigsegg Jesko Will Soon Be Delivered To Customer
