But now the famed tuner wants to get in on the overlanding game, it seems.A recent trademark of the moniker "Roush Overland" was uncovered by the website Muscle Cars & Trucks. Roush filed the trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in October of 2020, for use on "Recreational Vehicles And Accessories, Namely, Camping Trailers, Towable Trailers, Travel Trailers, And Trailer Hitches For Vehicles." Champion Racing, which won Le Mans in 2005 with an Audi R8 LMP prototype, will field a Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport for Frenchman Dumas in the 12.42-mile hillclimb in Colorado on 27 June. It will be the first time that Champion has had an involvement in motorsport since the end of the factory Audi American Le Mans Series programme at the climax of the 2008 season and the first without company founder Dave Maraj, who died in 2018, at the helm. The car will be run in the Time Attack 1 production class by Champion Motorsport, the tuning and wheel-manufacturing sister company of the Florida Porsche dealership that spawned the race team in the 1990s. Stellantis puts the brakes on Ram Dakota. For Ram customers looking for a smaller truck the wait continues. According to insider information gathered by the team at GM Authority the Ram Dakota project has been canceled. Since its departure in 2011, there have been constant rumors of the mid-sized Ram Dakota pickup returning to the lineup. Sadly, under the new leadership of Stellantis, the Dakota rival is stopped dead in its tracks. The mid-sized pickup truck market has seen substantial growth over the last couple of years. Ford brought back the Ranger, General Motors offers the successful Colorado and Canyon , and Toyota continues to dominate with the aging Tacoma. The 2022 Silverado is almost here. The upcoming 2022 Chevy Silverado was caught in heavy camo during high altitude testing. The team at TFLnow found a heavily camouflaged 2022 Silverado in a strip mall, which led them to a hotel parking lot full of Silverado prototypes. The new trucks are undergoing on-road testing in the thin air of Colorado while trying to remain incognito. Luckily the TFLnow team had a Ram TRX to chase down its new rival from GM. The fourth-generation Chevy Silverado debuted in 2017 during a truck event in Texas where the 2019 model year Silverado was airdropped on stage via a helicopter. Since its debut for the 2019 model year, both Ram and Ford have revealed all-new trucks putting pressure on the Silverado to deliver.
