It will be 201 inches (5.1 meters) long. Rumors of a larger Defender emerged even before Land Rover revived the legendary off-roader in September 2019. Company executives have now officially confirmed a three-row derivative is in the pipeline and will be on sale within the next 18 months. Known as the Defender 130 , the more spacious SUV "will hit a sweet spot in North America, China and also the Middle East, which we're not yet touching," according to Chief Financial Officer Adrian Mardell. According to an internal document from a couple of years ago, the more family-friendly derivative will retain the 119-in (3,022-mm) wheelbase of the Defender 110 while stretching the overall length by about 13 inches (342 millimeters) to 201 inches (5,100 millimeters). The same document referred to the Defender 130 as being a "premium explorer" with eight seats. This approval allows the company to sell cars in the country, equipped with Level 3 autonomous driving systems . It took Honda just four months to prepare the 2021 Legend equipped with the tech for public sales. Starting today, the Honda Legend EX with the so-called Honda Sensing Elite will be available for lease sales in Japan. The semi-autonomous driving system upgrades the existing Honda Sensing family of systems, available for models of the brand in Europe and the United States. The SUV's facelift will also allegedly bring a high-performance Sport RS version. Lamborghini has been spotted on multiple occasions testing a mid-cycle facelift for the Urus, and a new report from Car Magazine claims the disguise will come off sometime in 2022. The revised variant of the "Super SUV" is expected to bring an extension of the family as Sant'Agata Bolognese is allegedly planning a plug-in hybrid version and also a non-electrified Sport RS. The PHEV has been a long time coming, with Lamborghini's chief technical officer Maurizio Reggiani revealing in an interview nearly three years ago the Urus would get a charging port within 18 months. That obviously didn't happen, but it appears the LM 002's spiritual successor is getting closer to jumping on the electrified bandwagon. Williams had planned to present its new car via an augmented reality app, only for hackers to force the team to abandon the idea and remove the app from digital platforms. The team issued the first renders of the FW43B on Friday afternoon, revealing a striking new livery design for the new car that will be raced by George Russell and Nicholas Latifi.
