With his son Sebastian on the list of drivers dreaming of racing in F1, Juan Pablo Montoya has re-ignited the debate for teams to run a third car to give juniors an opportunity to prove themselves. Montoya believes third cars could be the solution. Laying out his thinking, the former F1 driver … [Read more...] about Juan Pablo Montoya proposes third car – but at tracks where teams expect to score big points

Rahal told media on Wednesday, “I feel really good about where we're at. I was thinking about this exact kind of media conference last year, and I was pretty reserved in … [Read more...] about RLL engineering team “more focused” in 2023, says Rahal

McLaren to share F1 reserve driver Schumacher with Mercedes
Listen to this article Schumacher found himself without a seat for the 2023 season after two tough years at Haas and the 23-year-old was snapped up by Mercedes as a reserve driver behind Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. McLaren has now announced that it will continue its arrangement of sharing reserve drivers with its engine supplier. In previous years it had agreed a deal with Mercedes to call upon Stoffel Vandoorne and Nyck de Vries in case it needed to replace one of its race drivers.
