Evans joined Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2011, initially as dealer marketing and digital manager, progressing to head of commercial development and then her current role as head of bespoke sales and marketing. Prior to joining the carmaker, Evans worked in a number of senior marketing and sales roles in the automotive and aerospace industries, including a stint with Toyota as sales operations manager. Evans was part of BAE Systems graduate intake programme and also spent a year with the DTI on secondment as a communications manager. She graduated from Brunel University London in 2002 with a degree in management. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars celebrates the largest gathering of Rolls-Royces in the world this weekend at the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club Annual Rally and Concours d’Elegance. The spectacular setting of Burghley House, one of England’s finest Elizabethan Houses, in Stamford, Lincolnshire, will provide the perfect backdrop for over 1000 heritage and contemporary Rolls-Royces. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will honour the occasion with a significant display of Goodwood-built Phantom, Ghost, Wraith and Dawn motor cars. The collection will include Wraith Black Badge and several highly Bespoke models. The motor cars will be hosted by a team from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, including craftsmen and women, graduates and apprentices. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has celebrated the opening of the new home of Rolls‑Royce in Poland. The dealership, which forms part of Auto Fus, and the British manufacturer of super-luxury automobiles commemorated the occasion with a prestigious event that attracted the ‘crème-de-la-crème’ of the Polish capital, including prominent members of the business community. Auto Fus has been an authorized Rolls-Royce partner since 2010 and has extended their services to Sales and Aftersales two years ago. From the fug of BMW and Volkswagen divvying up Bentley and Rolls-Royce, luxury car buyers ended up with a clearer choice when the Phantom was launched in 2003. Rolls-Royce's parent company took a very deliberate step away from the sporty pretension of its conjoined twin and pressed even further upmarket. It was a bold move, but one that ultimately paid off as the seventh generation to bear the Phantom name proved to be not only a hit with wealthy buyers but also very good to drive. For many customers though, it was more about the experience of buying and owning the Rolls than any marked improvement in ride comfort or refinement compared to its nearest rivals. As the automotive world has known for a while now, the Rolls-Royce High-Sided Vehicle (don't call it an SUV) will be named Cullinan; Rolls-Royce confirmed this fact just this week.So who or what is Cullinan?Sir Thomas Cullinan was a randlord (the South African equivalent of oligarch), who operated the Premier Mine just outside of Pretoria, modern-day South Africa, in the early 20th century and for whom a giant diamond that was found there is named. The 3,106.75-carat Cullinan Diamond was discovered in 1905, making it the largest rough diamond ever mined. The diamond was eventually broken up into nine smaller diamonds, some of which were made into brooches and crowns for the British royals.
