These two Jeeps are beach-body ready. Although some parts of the country are still covered in snow and others battling bitter cold, Spring Break is right around the corner. That's why earlier this week, Jeep reintroduced its tropical Islander moniker – first used in 1988 – for special versions of the Renegade and Wrangler . The two Jeeps wear custom paint, sport special features, and are ready to hit the beach, weather permitting. The Wrangler uses the Sport S trim as its base (both two- and four-door models) and comes with Islander-specific exterior cues like 17-inch Rubicon wheels, a "Tiki Bob" hood decal, and a white three-piece hardtop roof. Plus buyers get the choice of ten paint options, like the Chief Blue pictured here, or other fun shades like Snazzberry, Firecracker Red, and Hellayella. Inside, the Wrangler Islander sports cloth black seats with a Ceramic White mid-bolster and an embroidered Islander logo with Surf Blue accent stitching. "I’ve been a fan of two-wheels for a long time. I’ve known a few of the guys and girls in the ASBK paddock for a long time including Wayne Maxwell who is friends with my husband [Will Davison], and Troy Herfoss, who I have followed closely due to his off-track training. Ducati schedules in-season Jerez test for after Qatar
The Italian manufacturer will complete a two-day test at the Spanish Grand Prix venue between the Qatar race and MotoGP’s trip to the Americas for the events in Argentina and the United States. However, to preserve its allocation of five test days per year with race riders, it will only use test rider Michele Pirro on the first day.Lorenzo and Dovizioso will then take over for the second day, Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti confirmed to Motorsport.com. This New 2014 Lotus Evora Finally Sold After Seven Years On Dealer Lot
Talk about waiting for the right buyer. In 2019, it's estimated that 92 million new vehicles were built. That's an astounding number, and you know that not every new car immediately finds a new owner. We've covered numerous studies over the years talking about new cars that sell quickly versus those that sit on dealership lots. In the case of this Lotus Evora, it sat for a very long time. According to Car and Driver, it actually sat for seven years before finally finding a home.We hear about such things every now and then. In early 2020 we talked about Lexus selling three new LFA supercars despite the car having been out of production since 2012. Niche vehicles don't always have gobs of buyers waiting in the wings with cash in hand, especially ones that are on the pricey side. With a base MSRP of approximately $80,000 the 2014 Evora S 2+2 certainly fits that category, but this particular model at Secor Lotus in Connecticut was allegedly more like $90,000.
