Mercedes sparked controversy at the 2018 Russian Grand Prix when it asked Bottas to move aside for teammate Lewis Hamilton in a bid to protect its 1-2 finish. Bottas was left visibility disappointed and unhappy by the call from Mercedes, and claimed during the most recent series of Drive to Survive on Netflix that the incident made him consider quitting F1. "That was tough, tough to accept," Bottas said. "I was pretty angry. Honestly, I was thinking, why do I do this? "I was even thinking of quitting, of giving up. It could compete with the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Gander at your local grocery store parking lot, and you’re bound to find more SUVs than sedans. The big behemoths have shouldered small cars out of driveways, but luxury automakers have continued to support the saloon. Audi is readying a refreshed A8 , and spy shots have pointed to a top-tier Horch trim coming, too . A new pair of unofficial renderings attempt to preview what that high-end sedan could look like when it debuts. The renderings come from our colleagues at Kolesa.ru , and they show a stately sedan that should go wheel-to-wheel with the likes of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class . A new batch of spy shots shows us a familiar-looking test vehicle – this isn't the first 911 with a ducktail spoiler we've spotted – but this new one has several distinct differences. Previous 911 spy shots captured a ducktail-equipped test vehicle sporting a Turbo model's rear haunches, with gaping air intakes puncturing the rear fenders. However, the new test vehicle in the latest batch of pics doesn't have those. The fenders are smooth, lacking the intakes, but that's not the only difference. A close inspection of the new prototype reveals it sports a double-bubble roof, which isn't present on the other 911 Turbo-like one.
