PARIS (Reuters) - The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi carmaking alliance said on Tuesday it will use Alphabet’s Google Android operating system in future vehicles - handing a victory to the U.S. tech giant which seeks to carve out a bigger share of the infotainment market. In a bid to generate some interest around the only sedan it sells in India, Nissan has just launched a special edition version of the Sunny C-Segment sedan. The special edition model is based on the XL variant, which is the middle trim of the car. Prices start from Rs. 8.48 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi making it a lot cheaper than the mid trims of best selling C-Segment sedans such as the Maruti Ciaz (Rs. 8.8 lakhs) and the Honda City (10.82 lakhs). The Sunny is as spacious as the Honda City and Maruti Ciaz, a factor that makes it an ideal chauffeur driven car. As for changes, the special edition Nissan Sunny gets the following stylistic elements on the outside, which differentiate it from the the regular models: black roof wrap, new body decals and black wheel covers and a rear spoiler.
