The 2013 and 2014 models use a connector for the seat-mounted airbags and the problem associated with that may lead to disconnections during a collision. To detail the problem, the driver or the passenger`s seat side airbag might not properly function if the connector will become disconnected. In case of a crash, the occupant would suffer severe injuries. The airbags concerned are related with the side parts of the car, since the airbags in the steering wheel and the dash are functioning very well. Even if it doesn’t sound like big deal, the Land Rover Company has a huge responsibility of calling back the units by asking the owners to report in for service.
