The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS model is available with a price tag of Rs 65,920, ex-showroom (Delhi). The new Platina 110 is now the only model in its segment to offer ABS as standard. The new Bajaj Platina 110 commuter motorcycle offering now comes with a 240mm disc at the front, supported by single-channel ABS as standard. Apart from the ABS technology, the motorcycle now also comes with a ComforTec package. This includes quilted seats, spring-on-spring suspension setup, tubeless tyres, LED headlamp with DRLs, new mirrors and handguards. The company has taken the video game-like route to explain how the hybrid system works, a setup which comprises the Huracan-sourced 610 HP naturally aspirated V10 5.2-liter engine and three electric motors providing an additional 300 HP to enable the vehicle develop a combined output of 910 HP (669 kW). Most of the exterior will be covered in bare steel combined with different shades of grey and a "Shark Skin" rear end. On the inside it will come with a "Newspaper Wood" finish created by using pages of major business dailies. It's actually an evolution of a special type of wood used initially in the Onyx concept and is made entirely from recycled newspaper to create a "distinctive salmon-pink hue."
