The original Bugatti Veyron remains an automotive masterpiece. It's capable of tremendous speed, but that's not what everyone finds thrilling behind the wheel. Some folks just want to do donuts and have silly fun. The problem with doing donuts in a Veyron is the standard all-wheel-drive system simply provides too much traction. To make donuts easy to do, the AWD system would have to be unhooked. Houston Crosta is the owner of Royalty Exotic Cars in Las Vegas. He also owns the 2008 Bugatti Veyron in the video above and wants to do donuts in it. Last year, YouTuber LK Horizon jumped into the passenger seat of an eye-catching Vitesse at the Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome in the UK for some drag racing. Throughout most of the run, everything appeared to be fine as the Bugatti reached roughly 208 mph (334 km/h). However, when it came time to brake, the owner appeared to think the car could take a 90-degree corner at roughly 100 mph (160 km/h). Guess what: it couldn’t. Consequently, the multi-million-dollar Bugatti understeered straight into heavy crash barriers filled with water. On first impressions, the damage sustained appears rather minor thanks to the … [Read more...] about Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Crashes Into Barriers After 208 MPH Run
