The 2018 championship fight between Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton is turning into one of the greatest in Formula One history. Since the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, momentum has swung from Ferrari to Mercedes and back again with nobody any closer to learning who will be the first of the pair to reach five world championships. We are now 12 rounds into 2018 so it’s a perfect opportunity to take a look at how the title combatants’ first half of the season compare. Lewis Hamilton has taken a 24-point lead over Sebastian Vettel into Formula 1’s summer shutdown at the top of the drivers’ championship, but that does not quite tell the full story, with Ferrari having brought the fiercest challenge yet to Mercedes’ dominance of the V6 Hybrid era. When it came down to choosing a fun 160cc motorcycle, the Suzuki Gixxer was our pick of the lot. It made a lot of sense for those who wanted to ride to the hills on Sunday and commute to work on a Monday. There's a new motorcycle in the segment now, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4v; one that promises this and a lot more. Will the reigning champion of the segment have cause to worry then? The build quality, as well as fit and finish, is as good as any other Suzuki and from my long-term ownership experience, I'm sure that the bike will age … [Read more...] about TVS Apache RTR 160 4V vs Suzuki Gixxer comparison test
The launch of the AMT-equipped Vitara Brezza has taken place just days after the introduction of the Tata Nexon AMT. With this, the Vitara Brezza leaves little scope for the Nexon to eat into its sales pie, at least as long as you don’t consider the negligible petrol compact SUV-buying crowd. Maruti Brezza AMT vs Tata Nexon AMT – Prices The Maruti Brezza AMT has a clear advantage here. On sale at a starting price of Rs 8,54,000, the base AMT variant of the popular compact SUV ends up being more than Rs 2 lakh cheaper than the Nexon AMT. This is basically due to the fact that the Nexon AMT is available in the fully-loaded trim only. On the other hand, the Brezza AMT is available in three trims – VDi, ZDi, and ZDi+. The fully loaded ZDi+ trim with the dual-tone colour scheme costs Rs 10.49 lakh, which is Rs … [Read more...] about Brezza AMT vs Nexon AMT: Who should buy what
