The SUV has been the South Korean car manufacturer’s best-selling model in both the UK and continental Europe since it was introduced in 2015, and the updated Tucson has been unveiled at the New York motor show ahead of sales starting in the summer. At the heart of the new model is a range of refined powertrains, each of which Hyundai says is now smaller and with better CO2 emissions, the latter helped by a new dual-clutch automatic transmission that’s more efficient than the old torque converter model. All of these engines meet the latest Euro 6c emissions standards, according to the brand. Audi took the ongoing 2018 New York Motor Show as a platform to debut the all-new RS5 Sportback. This successor of the RS4 sedan continues to lock horns with the Mercedes-AMG C63 S coupe and the BMW M4. However, the RS5 Sportback will now also compete with the likes of BMW M3 and the Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan. The Audi RS 5 Sportback will be initially available in dealerships in the USA and Canada from the second half of 2018. The 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback looks a lot more sportier and appealing than the RS4 sedan The new Audi RS 5 Sportback gets a longer wheelbase, short overhangs and long, wraparound engine hood. This Sportback offering features a wide, flat single-frame grille, solid air intakes with a honeycomb structure typical of an RS model, and a front spoiler with matte aluminum quattro lettering. When it comes to showcasing vehicle concepts at motor shows, it is usually done by automobile manufacturers. But at the ongoing 2018 New York Motor Show, there is a slight change to this usual trend. Super8, the largest economy hotel brand, has showcased a Jeep Wrangler based SUV concept called the RoadM8 that is a a one-of-kind vehicle. The reason for the RoadM8 to exist is to highlight the renovations that Super8 has done to its 1,800 hotel rooms across North America with an investment of $100 million. The Jeep Wrangler RoadM8 Concept SUV is a one-of-a-kind vehicle Design is a subjective choice and we respect that but painting the macho Jeep Wrangler in shades of red and yellow is not something that we would normally recommend. Honda Motor Co is set to showcase the 2019 Honda Insight hybrid at the upcoming 2018 New York Motor Show. While Honda had already showcased an early prototype of the Insight hybrid sedan at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, this time it will be showcased in production-ready guise. The Honda Insight hybrid is being touted as a replacement for the Honda Civic hybrid in the US market. Honda claims that the Insight hybrid is capable of the 55mpg (23.3kmpl approximately). It comes powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which is supplemented by an electric motor, which produces a combined 153PS and 267Nm. The Insight will be built at Honda's plant in the Greensburg, Indiana in the US. Honda had recently showcased its latest-gen Civic at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Insight receives a lithium-ion battery which is packaged under the rear seat.
