The Boost Mobile boss has been a long-time backer of Courtney, but upped his support of the 2010 champion during a difficult 2020 campaign. That included the short-lived Team Sydney adventure , as well as the lifeline deal mid-way through the season to grab the fourth seat at Tickford Racing . Despite not testing the Tickford Mustang once before his first race, and effectively learning on the fly across the remainder of the season, Courtney was able to bank 12 Top 10 finishes, including a second at Hidden Valley. While impressive given the circumstances, Adderton is expecting more this time around given Courtney will have a full pre-season under his belt. "We really didn't have a lot of chance to prepare [in 2020]," Adderton said. "I think JC's got a better chance this year. He knows the car. His first test day [last year] was a race, which is always hard. "You want to test the car and get to learn it, but he built up speed. "But it's a big year, and … [Read more...] about Courtney expected to ‘step up’ in second Tickford season

Ducati schedules in-season Jerez test for after Qatar
The Italian manufacturer will complete a two-day test at the Spanish Grand Prix venue between the Qatar race and MotoGP’s trip to the Americas for the events in Argentina and the United States. However, to preserve its allocation of five test days per year with race riders, it will only use test rider Michele Pirro on the first day.Lorenzo and Dovizioso will then take over for the second day, Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti confirmed to Motorsport.com. VW ID Buzz Mule Spotted On Trailer
Hidden in plain sight. Keen readers will know that Volkswagen can strut its stuff on electric avenue. Whether it be the ID.R race car – which shattered EV records at landmark events like Pikes Peak and the Nurburgring Nordschleife – or nearly outselling Tesla when it comes to the road market, it’s clear that the German Automaker knows its stuff. However, a mule for the heavily anticipated ID.Buzz has recently been spotted. So what tipped us off as this being a test mule? We’d be remiss not to mention the Elektrofahrzeug sticker – which translates to Electric Vehicle – caught our eye first. However, for those less inclined in linguistics, the mule is clearly hidden under a VW T6 body that’s shorter and wider than the normal car – less noticeable, but still fishy.
