THE motors most likely to let you down have been revealed - and it's not good news for BMW. Three of the bottom five breakdown candidates were from the German manufacturer, according to a new owner study. Thousands of drivers with cars less than 12 months old were quizzed by the Driver Power survey across 31 different categories. The BMW 5 Series ranked worst with a staggering 51 per cent of owners having an issue in the last 12 months. It wasn't much better news for the 4 Series (36 per cent) or 2 Series (35 per cent) while the big-selling 3 Series (31 per cent) ranked sixth. THE secrets of Britain's roads have been revealed with the most popular colours and common motors revealed. And according to the figures, a silver Ford Fiesta is the most common car in the UK. With more than 1.5million cars on the road, the Fiesta beat sister model Focus to take the top spot for car most likely to be spotted on the road. The majority of drivers are opting for small cars, with the supermini category dominating the market with almost 11.5million cars on the road - more than two million more than the next most popular segment.
