The Yamaha XTZ 125 dual-sport motorcycle has been spied testing in India for the first time. However, the sighting doesn’t warrant that India Yamaha Motor will launch the bike the country.The Yamaha XTZ 125 is an entry-level dual-purpose bike that is on sale in markets like Cambodia, Philippines and Ecuador among others. The test mule is in a black paint scheme along with red and silver graphics. In the international markets, the XTZ 125 is also available in blue paint scheme with white decals.Looking at the registration plate of the mule, it could be a case of a company like Bajaj Auto testing the XTZ 125 for benchmarking purposes.If the bike belongs to Yamaha, then it could only be similar to the Nozza Grande scooter, which was also undergoing tests in India but never launched. Nagpur-based Hindustan Customs has modified a Yamaha RX 135 into a brat café racer, called Tarak. According to the custom house, Tarak symbolizes “the one who takes you across, the star protector.”According to Animesh Sharan of Hindustan Customs, the customized Yamaha RX 135 features a list of modifications and a custom silver paint scheme, which is fading out of the market these days. The customized RX 135 receives an LED headlight with a custom-made bracket, integrated LED tail lamps and indicators, an expanded 16 litres fuel tank and clip-on handlebars.Other changes on the modified Yamaha RX 125 brat café racer include a bigger swingarm for the wider rear tire, hand-stitched tanned brown leather seat with matching handlebar grips, and custom front fender. The Yamaha RD350 is a cult classic like none other. Known for its stonker of a two-stroke engine and an amazing acceleration, the RD350 was the boldest motorcycle of its time.
