The Tata HBX SUV concept was even showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Ahead of its introduction in the Indian market, the Tata HBX SUV has been spotted testing on a number of occasions. However, according to the latest news by Carwale, Tata has confirmed that it will launch its micro SUV, HBX in the current year. The new Tata HBX SUV is expected to come with a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, a floating touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and a dashboard finished in black with silver accents all around. The homegrown automaker is now looking to expand the Tiago and Tigor range by adding CNG-powered variants to the line-up. Both the cars were spotted testing earlier on our roads. However, according to the latest report by CarandBike , the CNG variants of the Tiago and Tigor were spotted testing under heavy wraps while performing road tests in the ghat region towards Lonavala, Maharashtra. Tata Motors is expected to launch both these models sometime later this year. As seen in the spy pictures, both the models are likely to be based on the facelifted models of Tiago and Tigor. Alfa Romeo and Fiat will get their own versions of the pint-sized crossover. It was a little over six years ago when Jeep hinted at launching a new entry-level model to slot below the Renegade. It would appear the pint-sized crossover is finally coming as Automotive News Europe reports production is scheduled to commence in July 2022 at the Tychy factory in Poland. That's still a long way to go, but if the SOP date is accurate, an official reveal should take place several months before. While the Renegade rides on the Small Wide 4x4 platform developed by the defunct Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), its kid brother will use underpinnings engineered by the former PSA Peugeot Citroën. The dialogue with the Cherokee Nation isn't over though. The dialogue between Jeep and the Cherokee Nation isn’t over yet, it seems. The automaker reportedly contacted the sovereign tribal government in the summer of 2020 for an educational program for the company’s employees. The event didn’t go as planned but the two sides had another conversation a few months later. Jeep, now part of Stellantis, was asked to stop using the Cherokee name on its products. In February this year, a report from Car and Driver shined more light on the situation . The publication reached out to Cherokee Nation for a statement and this took the dialogue with Jeep to the next level. According to Automotive News Europe , the latest is that Chinese manufacturer Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (GAC) might be seeking to buy a portion of FCA, and in particular, Jeep . FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne denied those rumors, however, at the Detroit Auto Show last Monday during a press conference.
