The company could replace the Yaris sedan with a rebadged Ciaz sedan in the country. It will be the third model that will be rebadged and sold under the partnership between two automakers. Ahead of its launch, few images from TeamBHP showcases the Ciaz's grille featuring a Toyota badge. The pictures add to the speculations and rumours of Toyota adding another rebadged Maruti Suzuki model to its Indian line-up. Toyota currently sells the Yaris sedan which is placed in the same segment like the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Toyota bZ4X Concept Debuts As Vision Of Future Electric Crossover
For some markets, production starts in mid-2022. The Toyota bZ4X electric vehicle concept arrives to preview the Japanese brand's entry into the burgeoning crossover EV segment. The company plans to launch the production version in mid-2022 with production taking place in Japan and China. Unfortunately, the automaker isn't willing to share US-market details about the vehicle yet, saying that info is coming "at a later date." The bZ4X wears a small hexagonal grille in the lower part of the fascia and vertical gills in the corners, but there are otherwise no openings in the front end. The narrow headlights each have four LED elements and a strip for the daytime running lights along the top. Emilia Romagna GP red-flagged after Bottas/Russell crash
Russell and Bottas collided while battling for position on the run to the first chicane, causing a significant crash that left debris strewn across the track. Race control took the decision at first to deploy the safety car before issuing a red flag on Lap 34 of the 63-lap race at Imola. The crash was the latest in a string of incidents leading up to the red flag as drivers made the switch from intermediate to slick tyres, leaving them looking for grip in the greasy conditions. Verstappen escapes punishment for reversing on track
Verstappen locked up and went straight on at Ste Devote and had to reverse onto the racing line to get back on track. As he did so, Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was approaching the first corner and took to the pitlane exit road to avoid the Red Bull. Verstappen was summoned to the stewards, who also reviewed evidence, but was cleared because approaching drivers were being warned a car had gone off by yellow flags. The stewards thus decided Verstappen rejoined “under yellow flags and in a manner that posed no danger to the other drivers”. Verstappen was second-fastest behind teammate Daniel Ricciardo in FP1. Allison doesn’t want Mercedes F1 team boss role – Wolff
It was announced last week that, as of July 1, Allison will hold a newly-created position of chief technical officer, a change that some interpreted as a possible first step to him eventually being the overall head of the team. Wolff retains the team principal job for the foreseeable future, having explored his options over the past year. The Austrian has made it clear that he will eventually move aside, but he stressed that the job won't go to Allison. "I would say if you look at things, he would absolutely be capable to be the team principal," Wolff said of Allison.
