It was all inspired by the magic of Disney. At this year’s Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, Honda unveiled a custom Odyssey that would look well at home in any Disney park (or any Disney fanatic's driveway). They call it the "Minnie" Van, and it's a clever play on words to honor one of Walt’s most popular characters, Minnie Mouse, inspired by the magic of Disney. The exterior is finished in hot pink with white polka dots to match Minnie's signature style. On the roof, a massive set of Minnie ears and a matching bowtie complete the package. It’s all part of Honda’s partnership with Disney-ABC and the "Disney Unlock the Magic Sweepstakes," which will see the Honda Odyssey make a special appearance on an upcoming Disney’s Mickey and the Roadster Racers special. As part of the "Disney Unlock the Magic Sweepstakes," one lucky winner will walk away with a grand prize vacation to Disneyland Resort in California, as well as an all-new Honda Odyssey minivan… … [Read more...] about Honda Creates Adorable Odyssey ‘Minnie’ Van For Disney’s D23

Jani sets fastest lap at night in opening Petit Le Mans practice
BRASELTON, Ga. (Oct. 17, 2013) – Rebellion Racing waited until dark to set the fastest lap of the opening day of practice for Saturday’s 16th Petit Le Mans Powered by Mazda at Road Atlanta. Neel Jani led the session with a lap of 1:20.360 (113.788 mph) in the No. 12 Rebellion Timepieces/Lemo Connectors/Speedy Garage Lola B12/60-Toyota shared by Nico Prost and Nick Heidfeld. Running on a damp but drying track, Jani’s time was the fastest of Thursday’s three sessions, with both the morning and afternoon practice run in the rain. A fourth one-hour practice will be held Friday beginning at 10:20 a.m., with qualifying at 1:45 p.m. “I’ve never driven in the rain at night, so this was a premier for me,” Jani said. “It was not at all easy with the spray and puddles, but I got a feel for it. We were far off from risking anything. It’s only Thursday, but if it was Saturday, it’s a different story. We have seen many times where we were very quick compared to the Muscle Milk team, but … [Read more...] about Jani sets fastest lap at night in opening Petit Le Mans practice
First Cadillac Blackwing Sedans Sold At Auction For Combined $430,000

That's impressive, considering that each of the high-powered sedans costs a fortune – $87,775 for the smaller CT4-V Blackwing and $125,980 for the bigger CT5-V Blackwing . But money isn't exactly an issue for the winning bidders of the first production models of the Blackwing duo. Completed at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in Arizona, the two VIN 001 Blackwing sedans raised a total of $430,000 for Black Ambition. Binder: KTM losing concessions ‘hasn’t changed anything’
KTM starts the 2021 season for the first time as a non-concession manufacturer, after it had its results-based benefits revoked for winning three races in 2020. This means KTM has not been able to carry out any private testing with its race riders since last August and will have to run the season with fewer engines than before while observing a development freeze. KTM struggled in pre-season testing and failed to show any signs of improvement during practice on Friday in Qatar, with none of its four riders cracking the top 15. Binder was the leading KTM after FP2, 0.984 seconds off the pace, and noted the main issue has been an inability to turn the bike quickly. “I think our main issue is quite clear, we’re just not turning as quickly as we need to,” he said. “Especially in corners where you don’t use a lot of front brake, you keep the bike flowing. “We’re not quite getting the front to the point where we need it until we put a lot of pressure and therefore we’re … [Read more...] about Binder: KTM losing concessions ‘hasn’t changed anything’
