CEAT Tyres has announced the launch of its new tubeless range of tyres - Gripp XL and Zoom X3 at the ongoing India Bike Week 2019. The new Gripp XL tubeless tyre has been designed to offer 'Superior Grip' on kind of all-terrains and features an angular block pattern for better traction. The Gripp XL tyres also come with wider groove width between the blocks that provide better water channelling and superior wet grip, and these are exclusively launched for all Royal Enfield motorcycles. The new CEAT Zoom X3 series, on the other hand, comes in two options - the Zoom X3 and Zoom X3 F Tubeless, and these are designed to offer 'Superior control at High Speeds'. The firm's new Lister Knobbly Stirling Moss Edition revives the rare magnesium-bodied racer from the late ‘50s. None of the originals still exist, so paying a million pounds ($1.3 million) for one of these ten examples is the only way to experience this retro roadster. Deliveries start in the fall 2017. “The Knobbly remains one of my favourite racing cars," Sir Stirling Moss said in Lister’s announcement.These handmade sports cars precisely replicate Lister’s lightweight works racers. With magnesium bodies and thinner steel tubes for the space frame, the roadster weighs a mere 1,854 pounds (841 kilograms). The last car was assembled in 1964 while the rest of the designated chassis numbers were never used, until now. Jaguar's first ever "recreation" project consists of producing the remaining six units of the Lightweight E-Type and all of them are going to be hand-built in-house to the exact specifications of the original cars. Compared to the standard E-Type, the Lightweight version was 114 kg (250 lbs) lighter as a result of using aluminum for the engine block and body panels. You could have several of these authentic replicas for the price of one of Jaguar's revived XKSS roadsters. The modern Lister Motor Company is carving out a niche for itself by creating painstakingly perfect recreations of the automaker’s classic race cars. After finding success with its Knobbly continuation special, the company is now working on a revival of the more aerodynamic Costin. The Lister Costin was the company’s successor to the Knobbly on the track and the firm’s last race car of the ‘50s. The name came from aerodynamicist Frank Costin who designed the swoopy body.
