The compact-SUV has achieved a new milestone for the brand after being in production for 5 years. The Vitara Brezza achieved 1 lakh unit sales in February 2017. Within just 8 months after achieving the first milestone, the company registered another lakh sales in October 2017. July 2018 and February 2019 saw the compact-SUV completing 3 lakh and 4 lakh sales respectively. The Vitara Brezza hit the 5 lakh sales milestone in December 2019. Shortly after being announced as a Haas F1 driver for the 2021 season, a video was uploaded to Mazepin's Instagram account in which he was shown groping a woman's chest in the back of a car. Haas called the incident "abhorrent" and Mazepin apologised before the team dealt with the matter internally, keeping the details of its action private. Speaking in an open media call for the first time since the incident, Mazepin said he was "not proud" of what happened and that he took full responsibility for his actions. "How I reflect on my actions is pretty clear, I'm not proud of it," Mazepin said. "I didn't behave as I'm meant to behave, being in Formula 1 and the transition phase of realising what I have achieved has been very short, and I didn't adapt to it as I should have had. "I've taken responsibility for it, and I'm ready to keep doing so." The Kushaq will be the brand's new entry-level mid-size SUV offering placed below the Karoq in the country. Based on the sketches done by the company, the Skoda Kusaq SUV will feature a large horizontally stacked touchscreen infotainment system. It is expected to support the brand's latest form of connected technology along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The sketch also reveals other interior features such as a fully-digital instrument cluster with the brand's virtual cockpit design, a digital display for the climate control system, storage spaces in the door pocket and coloured accents on the dashboard and centre console; among others. It was only on Tuesday when the German luxury brand dropped a smartphone-friendly video shot in portrait mode previewing the screen-heavy interior and now we're being given a closer look at the exterior.
