2019 KIA K900 Release Date, Specs – The Kia K900 was launched in 2012 as the most luxurious flagship sedan in the company’s history. Designed to replace the Amanti, a four-door that was moderately successful in the US, the Kia K900 has brought its goal to provide a strong competitor for the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. After almost six years in the market, the 2019 KIA K900 has been completely redesigned and introduced into the North American market at the 2018 New York Auto Show. Presented for the first time in its national market in South Korea, the new 2019 KIA K900 looks much more modern than its predecessor. And although it carries the current design language of the brand, it also has some style characteristics. It seems that Kia wants the 2019 KIA K900 to stand out in the lineup, which is a good strategy in a market where sedans in different segments share too many characteristics. Kia k900 review
For years, Kia has branded itself as an automaker that can compete with the big boys for a lot less. While the South Korean brand started off by targeting millennials, it’s moved to a different segment, the upscale luxury division to take on Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW. Unfortunately, as Doug DeMuro finds out in his latest video, the move hasn’t worked for Kia. The new Kia Stinger is a good car that has what it takes to take on rivals in the sporty sedan segment. But taking on BMW’s 3-Series, Mercedes’ C-Class, and Audi’s A5 Sportback is a different ballgame than taking on the 7-Series, S-Class, and A8 – heavyweights in one of the most loyal sections in the industry. To compete with the aforementioned luxury cars, Kia came up with the K900. When the car came out a few years ago, everything looked really good on paper. It was a large sedan with an available V8 engine at the front and drive going to the back. It also had Kia’s … [Read more...] about Was The Old Kia K900 A Complete Failure?

The lights flank a wider, bejeweled grille that contains 176 gemlike cells. Overall, its face wears a more dynamic look for 2019. Kia says the K900 shares more of its architecture with the Stinger mid-size sedan than the G90 full-size sedan from Genesis, Hyundai's luxury brand ... but the interior is strikingly similar to the G90's. The 12.3-inch widescreen multimedia display sits front and center on the dash, looking almost identical to the one in the Genesis G90. Like that unit, the K900's … [Read more...] about 2019 Kia K900 Video Review
The South Korean car market is marked by fierce loyalty for domestic brands, bolstered by government policies restricting imported brands that have only eased during the past several years. The hometown crowd that packed the arenas to cheer the country’s Olympic speed skaters will no doubt prefer the second generation of the Kia K900, the automaker’s flagship sedan (teased above), over a Cadillac or a Lexus. But will America ever warm to it? Advertisement - Continue Reading Below Kia isn’t saying much about the next K900, but this time around, designers from Kia’s California studio had their hands on the car. The current K900, while sumptuously equipped, is a half-baked luxury car without the driving dynamics, standout style, or pedigree required of a car that can cost upward of $60,000. The soft ride and clumsy handling have not been well received among U.S. reviewers. But if the next K900 looks as hot as some of the recent Genesis concepts—the luxury … [Read more...] about Kis Is Making a Second-Generation K900
