Home Four wheelers oi-Promeet Ghosh By Promeet Ghosh Updated: Monday, March 8, 2021, 18:01 [IST] Audi India celebrated this Women's Day with its #DriveTheChange initiative to drive over gender-related stereotypes. Audi India kicked off the initiative by inviting its fanbase to post some of the gender-related stereotypes they are tired of hearing. Having received over 100 responses, the brand took this initiative on-ground by inviting eight women for the campaign drive. Here are just a few examples of some of the age-old, supposedly funny remarks women are often subjected to while driving in our country: "You drive pretty well for a woman", "Can your feet reach the accelerator?", "You might want to consider a smaller car?", "Will you be able to change the tire on your own?", "You'll be more comfortable in the backseat." Audi by introducing this campaign put to rest all the stereotype comments. Commenting on this … [Read more...] about Audi Celebrated Women’s Day With The #DriveTheChange Initiative: Read More To Find Out!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all official pre-season testing has been confined to the Losail International Circuit and the riders will have just five days of running before the opening two rounds at the circuit. Only KTM and Aprilia have been able to build completely new bikes for 2021, with COVID cost-saving restrictions meaning Ducati, Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda have to carry over their 2020 engines to this season. As a result, the GP21 that Miller – who was second quickest to Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo on Sunday – has been testing this weekend isn’t a radical step forward from last year’s bike and means Ducati is having to “nit-pick” where it can gain lap time in Qatar. When asked if the test schedule being broken up by two days off changed his programme, Miller replied: “Yeah, thank God I’m not doing race runs just yet. “But a few days off will be nice to let the body recover a little and get back into it again. For sure it’s different, but in saying that I think it’s … [Read more...] about Miller and Ducati ‘chasing our arse’ looking for 2021 bike gains
A supercar should draw attention, and this one does. If you buy an ostentatious supercar like the Lamborghini Sian , it's only natural to give it a vibrant color scheme to match the flamboyant machine. For example, Lamborghini Broward just took delivery of this wildly colored example as part of a collaborative effort with Lamborghini São Paulo. The car starts by looking pretty conservative at the front where this Sian is white, but the neon green splitter and purple-tinted carbon fiber are signs of what is to come. The doors have a purple gradient that transitions from white to the eggplant color at the back. The brake calipers pick up the green color to continue the motif along the side of the supercar. The … [Read more...] about Lamborghini Sian Lands In Florida With Vibrant Purple Body, Green Trim
Dubai – The Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG GT3 (#2, Abdulaziz Al Faisal / Hubert Haupt / Yelmer Buurman / Gabriele Piana) has won the 2018 Hankook 24H Dubai, the 13th running of the annual event that, at one point, had looked likely to be won by the sister #3 entry. Abdulaziz Al Faisal drove the #2 Mercedes-AMG across the finish line after completing 606 laps of the 5.39km Dubai Autodrome. The result continues the event’s domination by German manufacturers and cements Buurman, Haupt and Al Faisal as dual winners of the Hankook 24H DUBAI following their first victory together in 2015 with Black Falcon. “I can’t express how happy I am!” explained Al Faisal. “My thanks to my team and my teammates, it’s been an amazing job from everyone. I’ve done this for 11 years now, and finally I’ve won it for a second time. It was a bit harder this year, the competition has grown, but I’m really happy to be here!” A6-Pro class The overall 24H GT and A6-Pro leaders finished just two laps … [Read more...] about Black Falcon takes outright win at the 24H Dubai in 2018
Vaxiviere set the early pace in LMP2 qualifying with a time of 1m35.456s before a red flag was deployed with two minutes and 47 seconds left on the clock. The reason for the interruption wasn’t immediately clear, with all cars safely returning to the pitlane, and the session resumed soon after without much delay. Vaxiviere elected not to return to the track for a final effort and the gamble paid off as Ate De Jong crashed at the exit of Parabolica, preventing the majority of drivers from improving upon their first runs. As such, the Frenchman’s previous effort was good enough to put the #33 Oreca on pole by 0.381s from the #21 DragonSpeed Oreca of Ben Hanley. 2016 WEC LMP2 champion Gustavo Menezes was third in the #31 APR Rebellion Oreca, marginally ahead of the #29 Duqueine Engineering Oreca driven by Nelson Panciatici. Panciatici was the only frontrunner to improve after the red flag, demoting the #26 G-Drive Oreca of ELMS debutant Jean-Eric Vergne to fifth on … [Read more...] about Monza ELMS: TDS Racing claims pole in disrupted qualifying
