Ferrari is hiding its Purosangue crossover underneath a Maserati Levante , and Maserati has taken note, doing the same with its new GranTurismo . Our first spy photos of the new coupe show the Italian automaker hiding the car underneath an Alfa Romeo Giulia body, though the test vehicle features an unusually long front end. The front of the test vehicle looks ungainly and disproportional. While it clearly wears the Giulia body, there’s far more sheet metal between the front wheel and the door than there’d typically be, which could mean Maserati is using this to test and develop its powertrains. And if we take the previous reports as truth, we could be looking at the new body of the Japanese SUV on these leaked images posted by Kurdistan Automotive Blog on Instagram. According to the caption that comes with the images, the bare SUV bodies below were spotted in Japan, looking like they're sitting within the factory. Check the second image by swiping right on the embedded post below for a closer look. The bare Land Cruiser body you saw above wasn't the only thing that leaked out. The chassis has also been spotted with the engine installed on it, as well as the alleged Land Cruiser doors. Getting the eight-cylinder engine in the two-door 90 model starts at $97,200 (plus a $1,350 destination charge), and the four-door 110 goes for $100,400. The Defender V8 packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that makes 518 horsepower (386 kilowatts) and 461 pound-feet (625 Newton-meters) of torque. The power goes to an eight-speed automatic with four-wheel drive. The automaker estimates a 4.9-second sprint to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) and a top speed of 149 mph (240 kph). The spirit of the Espace F1 is alive and well some 27 years later as a talented artist has resurrected the rear-wheel-drive minivan with its 3.5-liter engine producing up to 820 horsepower. Liberty Media's full-year financial results, which were released on Friday, reveal that F1's income tumbled by 44% for a total loss of $386m - compared with the previous year. Overall revenue crashed from $2022m in 2019 to $1145m last season, while the modest profit of $17m in 2019 turned into an operating loss of $386m after the teams were paid. The total payments shared between the 10 teams fell from $1012m in 2019 to just $711m last year. Liberty explained: "Team payments decreased in the full year driven by the contraction in F1 revenue and the associated impact on the calculation of variable elements of team payments. "Team payments in 2020 included one-time fees paid to teams upon signing the 2021 Concorde Agreement." The huge dive in race promotion fees was reflected in the fall in their percentage share of F1's primary revenue, down from 30% of the total in 2019 to just 12% last year.
