In a deal announced on Tuesday, F1 says that Ferrari Trento has been named as the official Sparkling Wine of F1 in a partnership that will last for the next three years. Bottles of the Italian company's beverage will be used on the podiums after each race and its products will be available in F1's Paddock Club and other official venues. It is not the first time that Ferrari Trento wine has featured on the podium with its products having been used on the podium at the Italian Grand Prix in the past. Simone Mase, General Manager of the Lunelli Group, said: "In [1981] we were on the podium of the Monza grand prix, so we have beautiful pictures from then with great champions. They have already tasted Ferrari, but now we are partners and we cannot wait to be there." If you really want the big kidneys, they're still available. Aftermarket shops are not wasting any time as they're already preparing an array of custom bits for the new BMW M3 and M4. Avante Design decided to focus on the two-door model by developing a full widebody package to give the coupe a much more aggressive stance. The love/hate front grille is still there, but it's joined by a second design proposal bringing back the normal-size kidneys. While these are only official renderings for the time being, Avante Design has told us development work is almost done and the widebody package will be produced in limited examples. Just when you thought the AMG GT R couldn’t get any meaner... The Mercedes-AMG GT can be had in a few different flavors. The standard offering is the GT Coupe, which pumps out a respectable 469 horsepower (349 kilowatts). Somewhere in the middle of the lineup is the GT C , which is a bit more performance-oriented and produces 550 hp (410 kW). At the top of the range is the track-ready GT R, which churns out a hefty 577 hp (430 kW). There’s even a new four-door GT . But even with all those options, one German tuning shop thinks the AMG GT could use more power. Renntech now offers an upgrade package for the AMG GT R that delivers anywhere from 612 to 825 hp (456 to 615 kW), depending on the trim. The latter of the two options is dubbed the AMG GT R825, and along with more horsepower, adds a whopping 626 pound-feet (850 Newton-meters) of torque to the equation.
