The changes aren’t nearly as radical as on the recently unveiled update for the Cherokee , but the tweaks to the little crossover are still attractive. Jeep’s designers add more angular elements to the front of the Renegade, according to the photos posted on Instagram by Renegade Jeeps . The closely cropped picture shows revised headlights with new rectangular sections in the center, and there’s a light-colored portion around each rim. These photos provide more views of the body than the recently leaked photos . Unfortunately, this one wears considerable camouflage that conceals the changes. The refreshed Renegade's front end features a new fascia, but the body cladding here hides the precise changes. This test mule doesn't have the new headlights from the one in the previous leak, which suggests this vehicle has placeholder units. The leaked images showed the Renegade with updates like new two-tone trim and sharper edges for the grille openings. Unfortunately, the camouflage at the back does an especially good job of concealing the updates. Taped panels on the rear suggest revise sculpting for the hatchback. If you plan on going off-road, this is the one to get. The refreshed 2019 Jeep Cherokee has been spied for the first time testing in the off-road-oriented Trailhawk trim. Look for the updated model to arrive at dealers in 2018 and possible debut at the North American International Auto Show in January. Up front, all trims of the refreshed Cherokee now feature unified headlights , rather than the current split units. The updated Trailhawk also has a different front bumper than earlier test mules. This piece features higher-mounted fog lights and a pair of red tow hooks. An altered rear bumper features two, circular tailpipes and another red tow hook. The SUV also rides on a set of Y-spoke wheels that are unlike the units in previous spy photos.
