Edward Clark pleaded not guilty in Somerville District Court on Friday to charges of leaving the scene of an accident causing death. He was ordered to refrain from alcohol and drug use, not possess a firearm or weapon, not drive, surrender his passport and be subject to GPS monitoring. Clark is accused of killing Allison Donovan, 40, of Somerville, in the hit-and-run accident shortly after 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at a crosswalk at Powder House Boulevard. Aleanna Siacon Detroit Free Press Published 2:48 PM EDT Oct 26, 2018 Roseville District Court Judge Catherine Steenland entered a no contest plea at 72nd District Court in Marine City on Friday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that happened in Roseville last September. Steenland, 51, was arraigned on two misdemeanor criminal charges on Aug. 27, the Free Press reported. According to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, she was charged with one count of failure to stop at the scene of a personal injury accident and one count of failure to report an accident. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office took on the case after the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office recused itself from the proceedings. On Sept. 25, 2017, Roseville police responded to the hit-and-run crash at approximately 8:30 p.m. at Gratiot near Mckinnon, and a 31-year-old man told authorities that a woman in a red 2016 Dodge Charger hit his car and drove away. Christina Hall Detroit Free Press Published 5:56 p.m. UTC Aug 23, 2018 A Macomb County district court judge is charged with two misdemeanors in connection with a hit-and-run accident in September in Roseville, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday. Judge Catherine Steenland, 51, is charged with one count each of failure to stop at the scene of a personal injury accident, a one-year misdemeanor, and failure to report an accident, a 90-day misdemeanor, according to a release from Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy. Steenland is a judge in 39th District Court in Roseville. Worthy's release said that arrangements are being made for Steenland to turn herself in for processing. The time, date and court where the arraignment will be held will be updated when it is received, the release stated. Worthy's office handled the case after Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith recused his office from the case.
