Photoshoot: Frozen Marina Bay Blue BMW F90 M5 With HRE Wheels
With the BMW F90 M5 units hitting dealerships worldwide, first vehicles with a selection of aftermarket tuning parts are slowly beginning to surface. This particular Frozen Marina Bay Blue BMW F90 M5 comes courtesy of Wheels Boutique. The vehicle is adorned with a set of HRE P200 custom-made forged wheels. The Series P2 are HRE’s flagship Monoblock wheel. When designing the Series P2, HRE pushed their own design capabilities and reset the bar when it came to wheel design in a clean Monoblok platform. The wheels are specifically designed for high-performance machines, like the Lamborghini Aventador SV and the Ferrari 488 GTB, but look at home on the likes of a BMW F90 M5 as well. The wheels feature an unprecedented level of complexity and refinement, combined in an elegant balance that epitomizes the HRE brand for the latest supercars, sports GTs, performance sedans and SUVs. The BMW F90 M5 brings forth an evolution of the S63 from the previous … [Read more...] about Photoshoot: Frozen Marina Bay Blue BMW F90 M5 With HRE Wheels
BMW Individual: BMW M4 Competition in Signal Green
If the Java Green color is too common these days, BMW M and Individual are offering an alternative – the Signal Green. Perhaps the greenest of all green liveries from BMW Individual. the Signal Green is a guaranteed eye-catcher in any environment and makes it clear from a distance that this is no ordinary vehicle on the road. One can also assume that Signal Green would make a BMW even more imposing on the street, especially when paired with a high-performance vehicle, like the M4 Coupe. To showcase the unique shade of green, BMW M put together a photoshoot with the M4 Coupe Competition Package on the airport grounds of the BMW Driving Academy in Maisach. The M4 is not only decked out with the mandatory – in our opinion – Competition Package – but also with a series of M Performance Parts. Not only the standard carbon roof and the star-spoke alloy wheels, but also the tuning accessories from BMW M Performance set dark accents in the livery of Signal Green. … [Read more...] about BMW Individual: BMW M4 Competition in Signal Green
10 modified Yezdis & Jawas: Blast from the past
Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles hold a special place in the hearts of many people from the last generation. It was the motorcycle of choice for the daily commuters that wanted some extra punch from their motorcycles. While the origin of Jawa motorcycles can be found in the Czech Republic, Yezdis are essentially their Indian-ised version. Basically, back in the day, the Czechoslovakia-based bikemaker licensed a Mysore-based company to manufacturer and sell Jawa motorcycles under the Yezdi branding. While Yezdi motorcycles went out of production many years ago, there are some connoisseurs who have worked hard to keep the magic alive. Here are as many as 10 beautifully restored/modified Yezdi & Jawa motorcycles of India Yamdoot by RVS Designs Well, this Yezdi doesn’t look anything like the original classic. Hence, those of you who prefer a vintage beauty over a rather wild modification might not like this motorcycle. On the other hand, we are happy to see that an old Yezdi … [Read more...] about 10 modified Yezdis & Jawas: Blast from the past
GIIAS 2017: Mitsubishi Xpander
Mitsubishi’s much awaited entry into Indonesia’s core “Low MPV” segment is here. The Mitsubishi Xpander is its name (not Expander as rumoured), and it’s based on the Mitsubishi XM Concept that made its debut at this show last year. It will enter an arena that stalwarts such as the Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia, Suzuki Ertiga and Honda Mobilio currently dominate. The Xpander’s unique selling point is its looks, which are highly-stylised and sculptured for a car in this utilitarian class. Mitsubishi has a rich off-roading 4×4 heritage, and has of late turned itself into an SUV company – this seven-seater “small crossover MPV” plays on those points with SUV-inspired styling. It’s a trick also used by Honda for the BR-V, but the Xpander looks more futuristic and robust than the Honda Mobilio-based seven-seater. MMC claims that the Xpander will be a class-leading model that combines the comfort and versatility of an MPV with … [Read more...] about GIIAS 2017: Mitsubishi Xpander
