The Fate of the Furious will hit theaters on April 14. On April 14, the eight installment in the Fast and Furious franchise will hit theaters… and this time, it’s about family. The first few trailers have given us a clue as to the plot, but this newest international trailer divulges even more about exactly what’s going on amongst all the explosions. Similar to others Fast and Furious films before it, the Fate of the Furious will take the cars and the action to a few different locations around the world. Exotic locales like the frozen lakes Iceland, the iconic streets of Cuba, and Ohio. Alongside Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), the typically cast of characters will also be along for the ride, including Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson (Hobbs), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Letty Ortiz), and introducing Charlize Theron as Cipher. Home Four wheelers oi-Promeet Ghosh By Promeet Ghosh Updated: Monday, March 8, 2021, 18:01 [IST] Audi India celebrated this Women's Day with its #DriveTheChange initiative to drive over gender-related stereotypes. Audi India kicked off the initiative by inviting its fanbase to post some of the gender-related stereotypes they are tired of hearing. Having received over 100 responses, the brand took this initiative on-ground by inviting eight women for the campaign drive. Here are just a few examples of some of the age-old, supposedly funny remarks women are often subjected to while driving in our country: "You drive pretty well for a woman", "Can your feet reach the accelerator?", "You might want to consider a smaller car?", "Will you be able to change the tire on your own?", "You'll be more comfortable in the backseat." Audi by introducing this campaign put to rest all the stereotype comments. Commenting on this … [Read more...] about Audi Celebrated Women’s Day With The #DriveTheChange Initiative: Read More To Find Out!
We will see just how much there is on March 11. The reborn Jeep Grand Wagoneer is almost here. A livestream event revealing the full-size SUV will take place on March 11, and to remind us of that, Jeep dropped another set of teaser photos on its social media channels giving us a taste of what to expect. The latest images portray a very luxurious machine that apparently loves chrome. The bold grille certainly looks more prominent than the one used on the Grand Wagoneer Concept , both in size and appearance. The headlights also appear a bit larger, but the width-spanning white LED strip that was atop the grille on the concept is gone. Somehow, we suspect the chrome grille will still garner all kinds of attention. Speaking of which, a close-up image shows a chrome McIntosh speaker grille looking quite similar to what we saw on the concept. The concept's dash housed a pair of these prominent round speakers, which suggests the production SUV could well have a dash close … [Read more...] about Jeep Grand Wagoneer Teasers Reveal An Abundance Of Chrome And Leather
It's street-legal, too. When the eighth-generation Chevrolet Corvette debuted back in 2019 , it was said to be untunable due to its locked ECU . That hasn't stopped some people from trying, including YouTuber Emelia Hartford and her persistence has paid off. Barring the existence of an unknown C8 owner going fast while avoiding the limelight, she has the fastest street-legal mid-engine 'Vette in the world. How fast are we talking? The aptly-named Phoenix with Hartford behind the wheel headed to Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, California, with the goal of beating 9.95 seconds set in a boosted C8 built by Extreme Turbo Systems. She started the day with a mid-10-second pass, driving her C8 on a street tune burning pump gas. Runs continued to be in the low-to-mid 10-second range as additional tweaks were made, despite adding significantly more power. Switching to methanol race fuel, the 'Vette was laying down 1,000 horsepower but wheelspin was a problem in both first and … [Read more...] about Twin-Turbo C8 Corvette Claims Quarter-Mile Record In Dramatic Style
The change, which has been strongly rumored for most of the offseason, has been introduced for two primary reasons. The first is to reduce accommodation costs for the teams and the series, and the second is to reduce personnel’s potential exposure time while the U.S. is still grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and awaiting vaccinations to become more widespread and take effect. An IndyCar insider described the weekend schedule revisions as “a balance of 2019 and what was learned in 2020”. Last year, at the height of the pandemic, several events were condensed to two days yet featured two races to help ameliorate the temporary loss of several venues due to statewide lockdowns. The Chevrolet Detroit GP will also become a two-day affair this year – June 12-13 – as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race will run one week earlier. The CDGP organizers wished to remain sensitive to the fact that the Belle Isle venue is a state park used by others, thereby keeping three … [Read more...] about IndyCar reduces road course events to two days
