The new BMW R nineT and R nineT Scrambler are priced at Rs 18.50 lakh and Rs 16.75 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom (India). Both the BMW R nineT and R nineT Scrambler will be imported into India via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. Bookings for both motorcycles can now be made across all BMW Motorrad dealerships in India. Deliveries for the same are expected to begin shortly. The motorcycles come packed with a host of features, equipment and technology. Lapland made a late substitution in place of the traditional Rally Sweden, which was originally scheduled for this weekend. The Swedish event was abandoned due to concern over the ongoing effects of the Coronavirus pandemic. One significant benefit from moving inside the Arctic Circle has been the guarantee of snow, after recent snow-free editions of the Swedish event. The 15-year-old son of Formula 1, IndyCar and NASCAR star Juan Pablo Montoya, is set for a second year with the champion Italian single seater squad having made the step up to F4 last year from karting. Montoya will contest the bulk of the Italian F4 Championship alongside selected appearances in Germany’s ADAC F4 series. The Colombian-American finished 11th in the Italian F4 standings last year improving steadily as the year progressed, recording 13 top 10 finishes.
