New Genesis G90 Spied Testing In The Cold With Some Nifty Wheels
Watch out, Germany. The big names in the fullsize luxury sedan segment are freshening up their offerings to capture whatever’s left of the customer base that hasn’t fled yet to SUVs. Mercedes recently came out with a next-generation S-Class, Lexus facelifted the LS, BMW is testing the new 7 Series , while Audi is preparing a mid-cycle update for the A8. Hyundai’s premium division Genesis is also working on its flagship car by prepping the next G90. Caught testing in the cold, the large-and-in-charge sedan had the upper half of its body completely exposed, revealing the greenhouse. We can already notice a couple of changes in that area, with newly gained tiny fixed glass sections located aft the front and rear pillars. Make Your BMW M2 Competition Even M-er With Performance Parts
The carbon fiber roof and trunk together with the titanium exhaust and forged wheels shave off a considerable amount of weight. It was a little over two weeks ago when BMW retired the standard M2 to make room for the M2 Competition and now the Bavarians are already presenting upgrades a customer can add to make the performance coupe even more intense. Aside from boosting the car’s visual appeal, the extras also serve another purpose: to shave off weight. Those 19-inch forged wheels from the M Performance catalog not only look good, but they also reduce weight by 3.2 kilograms (7 pounds) compared to the model’s regular alloy wheels. According to BMW , the diet has a positive impact on the steering behavior as well as the driving dynamics. Finished in either matt Jet Black or Frozen Gold (with “M Performance” lettering, of course), the wheels can be optionally wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for superior grip.
