There's also a new video with the new Z. Nissan is pretty vocal about its next-generation Z sports car. The new Z was previewed with a near-production prototype, and the Japanese company has released a number of videos and stories with the car, providing a look behind the curtains of its development. We are probably several months away from seeing the final production version of the Z Proto, and Nissan decided it will release another video with the concept. This time around, it’s a different story though. The video attached at the top of this page is the same clip that was played at Nissan’s stand at the Tokyo Auto Salon . You can see the higher-res version here, and it is accompanied by a Q&A session with Shinichiro Irie, one of the design directors behind the Z Proto. Van Gisbergen off painkillers since Sandown
The Kiwi has been nursing the injuries since a mountain bike crash last month, with an aggressive recovery process centred around hyperbaric treatment limiting the affect its had on his packed racing schedule. Remarkably he has only missed one event since the crash, the GT World Challenge Australia round at Phillip Island. Two weeks after undergoing surgery he took three wins from three Supercars races at Sandown, before heading to Mount Panorama another fortnight later to win a GT race and claim the Bathurst Triple Crown with a win in the six-hour production car race on the same weekend. Giving an update ahead of this weekend's third Supercars round of the season at Symmons Plains, van Gisbergen explained his collarbone is largely pain free. However the same can't be said of the broken ribs, only found after his three wins at Sandown , which continue to give him grief. Despite the pain he's resisting painkillers, to help chart his recovery without the … [Read more...] about Van Gisbergen off painkillers since Sandown
Hotter Ferrari 812 Reportedly Debuting May 5, Name Still Unknown
We've heard VS, GTO, and even Daytona being tossed around. We know Ferrari is cooking up something special for the 812 Superfast . Our first clue came way back in June 2020 , when a black test car was caught turning laps at Ferrari's Fiorano circuit. Occasional sightings have graced our digital halls since then, with the most recent being spy shots from March 22 . Camouflage coverings replaced the basic black body, suggesting a final production form was hiding underneath. That leaves the world with just one question: when will it be revealed? The answer might be May 5 if a post at Ferrari Chat is to be believed, and there's very good reason to believe it. That's because it comes from legendary Ferrari historian Marcel Massini, who actually mentioned two dates for the future Ferrari. In a short post that just went up today , the first date is April 21 where the car will be shown to a select audience of potential buyers. As for the rest of the world, a press release … [Read more...] about Hotter Ferrari 812 Reportedly Debuting May 5, Name Still Unknown
Porsche 911 Spy Shots Suggest New Sport Classic Model Coming Soon
Expect a limited production run. The Porsche 911 comes in a variety of flavors, sometimes making it difficult to identify a nondescript prototype. A new batch of spy shots shows us a familiar-looking test vehicle – this isn't the first 911 with a ducktail spoiler we've spotted – but this new one has several distinct differences. Previous 911 spy shots captured a ducktail-equipped test vehicle sporting a Turbo model's rear haunches, with gaping air intakes puncturing the rear fenders. However, the new test vehicle in the latest batch of pics doesn't have those. The fenders are smooth, lacking the intakes, but that's not the only difference. A close inspection of the new prototype reveals it sports a double-bubble roof, which isn't present on the other 911 Turbo-like one. Home Four wheelers lekhaka-Athul z By Athul Z Updated: Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 22:54 [IST] The BYD e6 electric MPV has been spotted testing in India. The e6 is an all-electric MPV manufactured by Chinese company BYD. It has been spotted while being tested in Chennai and is the second generation model. The Chinese brand plans to launch several electric vehicles in the Indian market and it seems like the e6 is one of them. It will most likely be launched as a CBU unit. Being CBU, BYD doesn't need to homologate if they plan to import less than 2500 units this year. From the front, BYD e6 looks like a conventional MPV with a pleasant-looking front fascia. The large wrap-around headlamps and perforated front grille look quite contemporary, while the rear-view mirrors hinged from the door make the e6 look more premium. Despite the MPV silhouette, the e6 looks quite muscular and brawny with strong shoulder lines and … [Read more...] about BYD e6 Electric MPV Spotted Testing In Chennai; To Be Launched By The End Of 2021
