The Tata Nano was always Tata Group Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata's dream project. It was a car that promised the accessibility of four wheels to every Indian at an accessible price. Tata Motors could soon introduce an electric variant of the Nano , as per these latest spy shots that have emerged online. While the Indian auto giant has not made a public announcement of introducing an electric version of the Nano yet, the company surely seems to be developing the model that could be a more viable alternative to Mahindra 's e2o EV currently available in India. This is for the first time the Tata Nano electric version has been caught in the streets and visually there is no difference compared to the standard petrol version, save for what looks like a charging point on the left rear side corner of the car, just above the wheel arch.
