Polestar 1 production will begin in mid-2019, and the company will sell the 600-hp coupe in major markets around the world Polestar premiered its 1 grand touring coupe in China in late 2017 , but the automaker waited until now to show the upcoming model to Europeans at the Geneva Motor Show. Starting March 13, interested buyers in Europe will be able to pay a fully refundable €2,500 deposit to reserve the upcoming model ahead of the production beginning in mid-2019. "To date, we have received interest from over 6,000 potential customers wanting the Polestar 1 – a number which began gathering momentum from the moment the car was revealed," Thomas Ingenlath, Chief Executive Officer of Polestar, said in the company's announcement. The bigger Envision might reach the US, but don't hold your breath for the Verano. The doors are open to media at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, and Buick is there with two new offerings. One is the Buick Verano Pro with tweaked styling and powertrain updates. The other is a stretched version of the Envision called the Envision Plus, which should be a three-row SUV. Details for both offerings are a bit slim, however, which we'll talk more about in a bit. Our attention falls first to the Verano Pro. The Verano left the US market a few years back and there's no sign it will return, but the small sedan enjoys an extended life for the Chinese market. The latest version still maintains a familiar shape on the outside though you'll find an updated face that Buick says is "airplane-inspired." The gorgeous concept has received a green light after hugely positive feedback. Polestar announced today that the Precept concept model, shown earlier this year , will enter production. Vehicle development is underway in the UK and already more than 130 people are working on it. The decision has been made after the company has realized that people like it and there should be a market for such a great looking, sporty, all-electric car. Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO, said: "“‘Stunning. Spectacular. Cutting-edge. Many of the world’s automakers not only offer luxury saloons in the Asian country, but they also offer China-specific models. Lincoln is no different, revealing the Zephyr Reflection at 2021 Auto Shanghai. It’s a sleek, modern concept that previews the production version that the company will debut later this year. Lincoln designed the vehicle “solely” for the Chinese market. The Zephyr Reflection sports a familiar Lincoln look, though it’s been thoroughly reworked to look wholly unique. The Lincoln badge at the front is prominent, sitting against a new grille with a starburst pattern that further accentuates the bold badge. It also sits framed between chrome strips that extend to the sleek headlights before blending into a bold body line over the front fender and down the side of the sedan. The designers cover it with lots of LED strips. The Honda SUV E:Prototype debuts at Auto Shanghai as the company's preview for a forthcoming electric crossover. The production version for the Chinese market goes on sale in spring 2022. The general shape is reminiscent of the next-gen HR-V, but the designers add lots of lights. There are tiny headlamps in the corners, and LED strips run along the edge of the hood without meeting in the center. The Honda 'H' logo is illuminated, too. Even more LEDs appear in the lower fascia along the sides of the intake.
