For upwards of 40 years, Bowling Green, Kentucky has been the birthplace of new Chevrolet Corvettes. The facility started with the then-new 1984 C4 Corvette, and it continues today with C8 assembly. Much of the plant was upgraded to make that happen, which is mentioned along with other interesting Corvette details in a new 42-minute feature from savagegeese on YouTube. Through this video, we learn that Corvette production is quite different from other Chevrolet vehicles and not just because the engine is behind the driver. For example, the process begins with individual body panels getting painted right away, then sent off for assembly sometime later. While this is happening, the aluminum tub is manufactured (technically it's the only Corvette component manufactured at the plant – everything else is merely assembled). Houston native and global superstar Beyonce Giselle Knowles Carter announced her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour on Feb. 1.On Sept. 23, she is scheduled to perform at NRG Stadium with a maximum occupancy of 72,000 seats. Fans can grab tickets through a lottery-style verified fan registration process on Ticketmaster. According to the Live Nation website , the verified fan process filters out buyers looking to resell tickets and creates a less crowded ticket-buying experience for fans. Live Nation added that they anticipate demand will be higher than available tickets, so fans will receive a code and then be put on a waitlist after registration. While the name might not be particularly imaginative, the Max-Out concept car created to garner some attention for the program is quite the opposite.
