It comes as a surprise that Nissan has decided to launch a sportier version of its large and heavy SUV, but they believe there is a market for a hotter Patrol tricked out by the firm's in-house performance division. Power comes from an evolution of the 5.6-liter V8 engine that now develops 428 bhp (319 kW) which makes it 28 bhp (21 kW) stronger than the standard configuration.
