Picture: Met Police Met Police Police investigating the death of a refugee who drowned in the Thames have released his picture in a bid to trace his next of kin. Moustafa Ragouni, 27, was pulled from the water near Wapping on Sunday, October 14. He is believed to have entered the water the previous day at Luralda Wharf, and despite a search of the area he was not found.Moustafa had no identification on him, but inquiries found he was a Moroccan national who had entered the UK in August last year and claimed asylum. Picture: ARCHANT An asylum seeker accused of lying about his age to attend a Suffolk school is reported to have suffered abuse and threats. Suffolk police is understood to be investigating after reports that a pupil at Stoke High School in Ipswich was actually a 30-year-old man led to him and his host family being hounded by vigilantes.Classmates of the year 11 pupil said he lied to authorities about his age to get a UK education. While he claimed to be 15, fellow pupils said he was actually twice as old. Photo: Anja King Archant Sodhi Singh died at the King George Hospital on Saturday, November 3. He is the tenth person known to have died homeless in Redbridge since October last year. Picture: ARCHANT An investigation is under way after parents from an Ipswich school raised concerns over a pupil who allegedly told their children he was lying about his age. The pupil, who attends Stoke High School in Ipswich, claims to be 15 years old. However, pupils have recently told their parents that he may actually much older than he says he is. The students have claimed that he has been lying about his age to the British authorities so that he could get education here, as his previous qualifications were not recognised in the UK.Some people can often come into the UK without any paperwork and it can be difficult to identify a person’s real age.
