After tasting big success with the Compass, American SUV specialist Jeep is all set to expand its product range in the Indian market. While a sub-4 meter compact Jeep SUV to challenge the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and the Ford EcoSport is already in the works, the automaker is also putting together a three row SUV that will sit above the Compass in terms of price and positioning. Considering that the Compass’ top-end variants already push the Rs. 20 lakh mark, it’s very likely that the larger, longer SUV planned for India and other markets, will be a Toyota Fortuner challenger. Expect the new SUV to nudge the 25 lakh rupees mark in India. Last year, Jeep launched the Grand Commander SUV in China. The Grand Commander is a 7 seat, 3 row SUV, and while this SUV is specific to the Chinese market, something similar to this coud be launched in India as well. The new, 7 seat SUV from Jeep for the Indian market is expected to arrive sometime in 2022, when the current … [Read more...] about Jeep to launch 7 seat SUV in India; Toyota Fortuner challenger?

The move was widely criticized by other world leaders, who feared it would provoke Palestinian violence and set back the goal of peace in the Middle East. And sure enough, Palestinians mounted a Day of Rage, storming the Israeli security fence and staging protests that quickly turned bloody. Scores of Palestinians were dead by the end of the day. And for what? Sacrificing their loved ones did not stop the opening ceremony, nor will ongoing violence cause the U.S. to reconsider its decision to leave Tel Aviv in favor of Jerusalem. It’s the proper position for America to take. Israel has the right to locate its capital where it chooses. Trying to avoid Palestinian violence is not a good reason to deny Israel the same sovereign right enjoyed by every other nation. Appeasing a people that has adopted terror … [Read more...] about Editor’s note: U.S. embassy in its proper place now
