What do you think of when you think of Easter brunch? Glazed Ham? Mimosas? Not me. When I think of Easter brunch I think of hot cross buns. Hot cross buns are ubiquitous in England around Easter time, and when I lived there, they were easy to find in every bakery and grocery store. They are a little harder to find here in San Diego, so I say bake them yourself. There is something so satisfying about making your own bread. What seems daunting at first is really very easy with a little practice, and nothing smells as tempting or tastes more delicious than bread you have baked all by yourself.
