In a new development, the Czech automaker has confirmed that this model will debut in concept form at the Auto Expo 2020.The Skoda premium B-SUV will have a design inspired by the Skoda Vision X concept that debuted at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. However, while the Europeans like their B-SUVs soft, Indian customers prefer them with a tough, proper SUV-like design, masculine proportions and high ground clearance. So, the SUV for India, while having some resemblance of the production Vision X, will look quite different. In this post, we'll take a look at 5 other concept cars, along with 5 exciting motorcycles, that have debuted at the earlier versions of our country's biggest motor show -DC TCADilip Chhabria-owned DC Design showcased the TCA sportscar at the Auto Expo 2018. Based on the Avanti, the TCA was earlier scheduled to go on sale in October 2018, but it looks like the launch has been postponed indefinitely as the design house seeks investments to bolster its operations. The TCA is an abbreviation of Titanium, Carbon and Aluminium and is powered by a 3.8-litre naturally aspirated mid-mounted V6 engine that outputs a maximum power of 320 PS. Tata H7X SUV (Harrier 7-seater) to debut at Auto Expo 2020
Autocar India reports that the Tata H7X SUV, which is, basically, the 7-seater version of the Harrier (codename - H5X), will make its public debut at the Auto Expo 2020. India-bound MG Motor to unveil MG X-Motion concept at Auto China 2018
India-bound MG Motor will use the Auto China 2018 (2018 Beijing Motor Show) stage to unveil the MG X-Motion. Just days before the SUV’s debut, the company has released the concept’s first teasers and a sketch. The teasers show the MG X-Motion concept featuring slim headlamps and tail lamps, diamond-studded front grille, strong shoulders, integrated roof bars and a sloping roofline. The MG X-Motion is expected to evolve into a production SUV bigger than the MG GS and thus slot at the top of MG’s line-up. The company hasn’t revealed details so far, though. According to a report from CarNewsChina, the MG X-Motion concept’s production version will ride on the Roewe RX8’s platform. Auto Expo 2018: The Highs And The Lows
The National Auto Expo, which is the biggest automobile event in India returned this year and it was back with a bang. Big names such as Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata, Honda, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Renault and Hyundai were showcasing the output of the efforts that they had put into designing a new range of cars, with many of them also being electric vehicles. This year, South Korean manufacturer KIA showed the people of India what it was bringing to the market come 2019 and their appearance had a huge impact; they drew a lot of attention and raised a lot of eyebrows. I was overwhelmed by KIA’s new fleet of cars. They had brought in all that they had to offer, from SUVs to Hatchbacks, from hot saloons to futuristic EVs; KIA had it all.
