The only other team to beat UH (22-2) this season, Alabama, received one-first-place vote and is currently No. 3. Arizona, which was No. 4, also received one first-place vote. The University of Texas rounded out the top five, jumping up five spots after back-to-back ranked wins over Baylor and Kansas State.
