As per a report from Overdrive, dealers of Hero MotoCorp have commenced the bookings for the brand’s premium performance commuter, the Hero Xtreme 200R. The booking amount reportedly ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 5,000. The media house reports that the bike is likely to be launched in the first week of June, post which the deliveries will begin. Hero MotoCorp unveiled the motorcycle in January, this year. The bike is the production version of the Hero Xtreme 200S, which the brand showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The pricing strategy reported recently suggests that the bike will be priced below INR 1 lakh, ex-showroom. However, there is no official word on the pricing yet. Royal Enfield Interceptor Royal Enfield unveiled their first ever twin-cylinder powered motorcycles last year. One of them will be the Interceptor which will be Triumph Street Twin challenger in India. The 650cc parallel twin engine is an all-new product and is air plus oil cooled. It is the most advanced engine coming out of Royal Enfield factory ever and gets fuel injection, four-valve heads, and an overhead camshaft.
