For some markets, production starts in mid-2022. The Toyota bZ4X electric vehicle concept arrives to preview the Japanese brand's entry into the burgeoning crossover EV segment. The company plans to launch the production version in mid-2022 with production taking place in Japan and China. Unfortunately, the automaker isn't willing to share US-market details about the vehicle yet, saying that info is coming "at a later date." The bZ4X wears a small hexagonal grille in the lower part of the fascia and vertical gills in the corners, but there are otherwise no openings in the front end. The narrow headlights each have four LED elements and a strip for the daytime running lights along the top. Hyundai Accent is bigger, quicker, and safer for 2018
New subcompact officially bows at the Toronto Auto Show this week. The Canadian International Auto Show has been around since the mid-70's, and while plenty of exciting vehicles have made their way through the Toronto expo over the years, it's never actually hosted a world premiere. That changes today with the global unveiling of the 2018 Hyundai Accent seen here. The fifth-generation Accent sedan, which Hyundai says will make its way to markets around the world beginning in the third quarter of 2017, is larger than its predecessor, accelerates quicker, and offers segment-first automatic emergency braking. In terms of size, the 2018 Accent is wider and longer than the 2017 sedan, with an increased wheelbase, though it sits 10 millimitres lower to the ground for better aerodynamics. Not surprisingly, the interior is larger, both in terms of passenger volume and trunk space. The cabin looks plenty stylish, with the accompanying pictures showing eye-catching red accents … [Read more...] about Hyundai Accent is bigger, quicker, and safer for 2018
Ford Ends Sedan Ads In U.S., Even Though Fusion Is Still On Sale
"We clearly have the right strategy," Ford believes. Ford ’s plans to cut off all sedans from its lineup are no longer a secret and, apparently, the automaker wants everyone in the United States to be well aware of them. The Blue Oval automaker has reportedly ended all advertising campaigns for the Fiesta , Focus , Fusion , and Taurus models nationwide. That’s a surprising move, to say the least, considering the fact that the Fusion will remain on sale for at least two more years. The decision, however, is motivated by Ford’s intentions to deploy more money on better-selling vehicles like the Mustang and EcoSport , as Mark LaNeve, Ford's vice president of U.S. marketing, sales, and service, explains. Ford wants to focus on these vehicles Is This A Prototype Of Ford's Baby Bronco SUV? Ford's Mustang-Inspired EV Officially Teased For First Time "It allows us to focus our resources," LaNeve told Automotive News in a recent interview. … [Read more...] about Ford Ends Sedan Ads In U.S., Even Though Fusion Is Still On Sale

The company could replace the Yaris sedan with a rebadged Ciaz sedan in the country. It will be the third model that will be rebadged and sold under the partnership between two automakers. Ahead of its launch, few images from TeamBHP showcases the Ciaz's grille featuring a Toyota badge. The pictures add to the speculations and rumours of Toyota adding another rebadged Maruti Suzuki model to its Indian line-up.
